Its most important with designing new parks and ramps to make sure, that the actual design is safe and the physics make sense.

In order to be certain that our designs are safe and sound, we are implementing Trajectory Calculations in 3 levels:

  • simple 2D trajectories depending on velocity, ramp radius and height, athletes weight, landing ramp and height.

  • more advanced 3D trajectories with angle of divergence

  • high sophisticated trajectories for high speed - far distance jumps (e.g. FMX) that factor in air resistance, wind speed and direction, atmospheric pressure and drag coefficient
